The Sub/Conscious Meanderings of a Design Philandros

Type Thursdays 1

I’m always inspired by up-and-coming designers especially in the realm of type design. Aby Huynh, a fairly recent graduate from the Type and Media program at the The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK), caught my attention with his degree typeface Arietta. I was immediate struck with how well the three italic variations—each with their own distinct voice—complemented the roman and bold to harmonize perfectly.
